On Friday, April 3, Out of the Water was screened at the Vail Film Festival to a completely packed theater. The response was strong, leading to a majority of the questions at the Q&A to be about Out of the Water. The director of the film, Daniel Citron, also managed to give independent director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob, Zack and Miri) a copy of the film.
